La Liga, Spain’s top football league, has signed a broadcast deal with Galaxy Racer, an esports company in the UAE. This is great news for football fans in the region. The La Liga tournament will now stream exclusively on gxr.world in India and Sri Lanka.
The deal covers the Indian subcontinent and started with the 2024-25 La Liga season on August 15, 2024. Fans can watch matches and highlights of the games for free. There is no need to create an account to access the live streams.
Galaxy Racer also plans to create a dedicated app. This app will allow fans to watch La Liga matches live and catch highlights easily.
Due to this agreement, La Liga will no longer be available on the Voot Select app, Jio app, or Sports18 Channels. This change shows La Liga’s commitment to expanding its digital reach in India and Sri Lanka.
With all La Liga matches on one platform, fans can enjoy a better viewing experience. This partnership highlights the growing connection between traditional sports and esports.
As the season progresses, fans can expect exciting matches featuring FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao. La Liga aims to strengthen its following in the Indian subcontinent with this new arrangement.
